Well I'm in Act III & just fought the 3rd & I think last Shadow Reaver & got the Tome of Ilzaka or whatever the hell it's called & went to talk to Aldanon as the quest log & NPC's told me I should & to ask of getting to the meridan (sp?). I went & did so and he says he needs the tome...so I double checked my inventory & I do have it...infact I have 2.

I can't talk to him about it just keeps saying he needs the book.

I didn't happen to see this bug on the bio site & so just curious if anyone else has had it?

ok after replying the battle with the 3rd Reaver like a million times & trying a bunch of different things to get Aldanon the tome it turns out you dont' give it to him even though it tels you too...a bit of a crappy quest writting imo.

so incase anyone gets sucks there too I'll let you know what to do.

When I think I'm stuck and can't find help in the Journal I talk to everyone in and around My Keep and I seem to get the answer I needed. Sometimes I get pleasently surprised when someone I've spoken to many times has something completely different to say.

As in any crpg I always talk to anyone who has a name, no matter what city, dungeon, field or road I'm on.

I'm there, and the same thing happened to me. There a bad case of bugging around that part. I had stuff like having two True Names scrolls, no having Elanee in the NPC choices for no apparent reason, and of course the double tome (you get one dropped in you inventory in the cutscene after the 3rd reaver's death, plus teh one you pick up on his body). And of course, Aldalon doesn't acknowledge it. I'll check on the bioware boards, see if any thing pops up...

You're supposed to have two True Names scrolls. One for Zjhaeve and one for Ammon Jerro. The dialog as I recall (after I gave the scroll to Ammon Jerro) was Aldanon makes a copy.
