it is a dumb question, but i am not fighting orcs at the old owl and i do not know if this is chapter one or whatever.
could you please explain?

the chapters are very, very large
chpt.1 contains:
travelling to neverwinter (theres a lot here)
fighting/aiding thieves in said town
the owl well
then alot more (owl well is approximatey 1/2 way through the 1st chapter

thanks a lot, edorien. i am doing all the quests in order to obtain as much xp as possible.
i am a fighter/cleric, have a dwarf pure fighter, an elf pure druid and a tieflng pure rogue.
is it a good team to beat my way thru?

There are three chapters. You'll get more henchmen in later chapters.
