In the shadowlord dungeon I found a piece of a letter which refered to a place were some mithril is hidden. Does anyone know were I can find this hidingplace?

The mithril is in the outside area of the Temple Ruins. If you're not a ranger, then you have no use for it. If you are, then it's involved in your stronghold quest.

The cache is not there unless you are a Ranger and have been given the quest.

Okay, my character is a ranger, and I have accepted the quest; I have found the necklace and letter.
I have been tramping all over those ruins, and I can't find anything. Did I miss a step, or do I just need to go tramping around some more?

Look to the lower right of the quest giver you may need to walk lont the bottom edge of the screen with the right mouse button so you dont jump out of the area

Are you looking inside the ruins themselves, or in the woods outside? The treasure is in the woods, towards the bottom of the screen. It's difficult to find, because it's not in a nice easy chest or anything, so you'll need to keep looking until you find it.

Never mind the hollow sound of my head colliding with the wall.
The necklace was the stash.. how anticlimactic. Seems I finished the quest quickly, and just wandered around getting fresh air because it seemed too easy...
