<hr>Hi. How can I best help test this beta patch? Do you want people to take notes and send them in for things that aren't working only, or things that are?<hr>
Best idea is just install it and play with it. If you feel ambitions, take a look at the list of fixes and new features and see what you can break and send things you find to nwbugs@bioware.com (or nwexploits if required). If you feel really adventurous and got a spare server slot, put it on your server, upgrade your favourite mod to it and run your own little beta test. The patch has a huge number of fixes and some changes to backend systems - it would be interesting to get some data from larger servers to see how the patch affects things (i.e. performance increase / uptime) - we usually don't have the resources to do detailed large scale server tests under real world conditions. We get a huge number of people downloading our beta patches every time, but only a very small number of people feedback sends us feedback.
