Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault (http://nwvault.ign.com). Server side, the 2da does not need to be on the client as all scripts run server side. Custom 2das do not need to be in a hakpak, having them in the server override is fine. They are an excellent way of organizing i.e. loot tables, etc since you don't need to give them to the player.

<hr />I'm not sure how much say developers have in it, but obviously popular developers such as Bioware do have some control over who their publisher is<hr />There is only one publisher with the D&D license.
