We have made significant progress on the Linux Beta 3 and are in final internal testing on it right now. Mac and Linux Beta 3s should be out next week if all goes well. We are just a little behind the curve.

1.64 Beta Shifter suggestion (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=381174&post=3159770&forum=77&highlight=)
<hr />Is there a reason the medusa and/or kobold commando cannot have a bow? The drow dual-wield is a good idea too. It’s interesting and gives a certain variety.<hr />Yes. It was in the game at one point and was removed as it caused a lot of problems. No shifters with ranged weapons, sorry.

More: <hr />- Why wouldn't we be able to get unlimited uses for Undead/Outsider/Construct/Dragon Shapes? I do think selectable feats would be nice for it; each such feat would OBVIOUSLY require the fitting "basic" feat (Undead Shape before Unlimited Undead Shapes, etc.) This and "creature weapon" Feats would make for lots of different builds, even at level 40 (take all shapes or only some with unlimited uses? etc.) Also, it would remove the much needed unlimited form with regeneration.<hr />Because they are epic feats. http://forums.bioware.com/_global/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif Seriously, nobody is going to redesign the shifter class, we think it's fine - all I hinted was that there might be the remote possiblity of adding an upgrade to the wildshape 4 shapes like the other shapes get in epic level.

Im getting odd colored shadows and.... (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=382328&post=3159774&forum=77&highlight=)
<hr />Georg: I have an nVidia card as well, most current drivers set for quality and I get yellow shadows on occasion as well, even playing offline. What seems to trigger it is long play times, so my guess is that it's a memory leak.<hr />"yellow" shadows are usually connected to running around in DebugMode which causes triggers to show up. "red" or "weird" shadows that are not "yellow" are usually caused by the aforementioned nvidia driver setting.

my rogue cant hit anything! (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=382571&post=3159959&forum=43&highlight=)
A level three rogue doesn't have a very high BAB to begin with, and dual wielding two medium sized weapons carries stiff penalties. Did you take the Ambidexterity or Two Weapon Fighting feats, at least? If not, you'll be suffering some massive to-hit penalties.

More: <hr />You should also consider getting Weapon Finesse so that you can add your Dexterity bonus to your AB. Though a rogue will never be as good as a fighter in battle, that feat will help him to be more efficient in combat.<hr />That only applies to certain weapons, of course, but that list does include the rapier.
