1.64 Beta 3 available. (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=378167&post=3166284&forum=77&highlight=)

Should be at least one beta for Linux. I'd not like to find out that the servers I play at breaks because of the patch. Besides there isn't really a hurry.
There will be. We are still working on it.
More:
What's the point of selling some Platinum eddition with some out of data patch when there's a new one coming out that will fix more of the old bugs and present more features? Or are you saving that for Adamantium edition?
Sorry, not really sure what you are talking about here. Atari needed a package of NWN + both expansions and we needed to identify it differently from the other patch versions. Thus, Platinum is just 1.62 labled as 1.63 so we can manage the data better. As well, Platinum is already in manufacturing and we are still finalizing 1.64.
More:
The little gamespy popup is still advertising Beta 1 as being available for testing. You may want to update that to Beta 3.
Thanks, that has been fixed and it also has nothing to do with GameSpy.

Should I get HotU? (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=383286&post=3167106&forum=77&highlight=)

all right thx guys ill get it some time this week http://forums.bioware.com/_global/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Apparently the Platinum edition is now available too (includes both SoU and HotU). If the price is comparable, you might want to pick up a copy of Platinum instead.
Platinum 1.63 can't play online with 1.62 (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=382958&post=3167130&forum=42&highlight=)

The following I'm about to say should be ignored as I have no idea what I'm talking about http://forums.bioware.com/_global/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif : What happens if someone with the platinum version runs the 1.62 critical rebuild?
I suspect that using the 1.62 critical rebuild would allow 1.63 Platinum edition users to play online with 1.62 non-Platinum users (althoug I haven't tried this personally). I believe that people have done stuff like this in the past. So if you are really desperate to play online and can't wait for the 1.64 patch this may work for you. However, this isn't really a supported way of reverting your game version, so if it doesn't work for you don't be surprised (although if it doesn't work, you should still be able to re-install the game to get back to 1.63).

Playing with platinum (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=383349&post=3167192&forum=77&highlight=)

Now we saw the 1.64 beta patch so he can play with platinum players so he installed that. Now I can see the game he is running but I can not play as it says I do not have the right verison being that I have 1.63.
Have you installed the 1.64 beta as well? You need to be running the same versions, and it sounds like he's on 1.64 beta, whereas you're on 1.63.
How to? (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=383377&post=3167587&forum=66&highlight=)
You can try checking out the Coalition of Planes and Planets (CoPaP). They have a growing number of linked servers and a pretty solid description of each, I've heard. Check here (http://www.legendsoftoril.com/) This is not, I repeat NOT any kind of BioWare endorsement. Let's make that clear right here. I've just heard good things about them.
