1.64 was supposed to be out very close to the release of the platinum edition. Our publisher told us a date the platinum edition would ship to stores. They shipped significantly earlier without giving us advance warning. Not much we can do about this. End of story.
More: <hr />So how long are we talking here for the 1.64? Weeks or months? Also, NO OFFENSE but did anyone get fired/chewed out/sent home early for this COLLOSAL mistake? I don't think you realize how many people PLAY this game online.<hr />It will take as long as it takes to the patch to pass internal and external QA, we do not rush patches. We know exactly how many play this game online, and we are aware that the people who bought the platinum edition can at this time only play on platinum edition servers, which is why we are working as fast as possible to resolve this situation. There is not much more we can do for you at this time, regardless how often/aggressive you post about this.

Alt - Tab problem (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=383013&post=3184912&forum=49&highlight=)
<hr />I have same prob, but instead of Alt-Tab to cure it i use alt F4 and it brings up "do you want to quit" and u just click no and mouse should work then...<hr />Actually what I've found is that just pressing the ALT key should do the trick.

If you're planning on playing online with people in the near future, don't install the Platinum version until the final version of patch 1.64 has been released. Platinum hit the shelves a little earlier than it was meant to, so don't have any proper patches that are compatible with it beyond what it ships with (1.62).
