NWN 2 System requirements? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=406607&post=3360958&forum=95&highlight=)
That's on par with the systems that some of the developers are using. Right now I am using a Radeon 9800 Pro and it runs fine.

You're welcome. There's lots of other cool stuff going on with the tools, too, but we just figured we'd whet your appetite.

Toolset, Content, Scripts,... oh my! (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=406700&post=3361771&forum=100&highlight=)
Well, one thing that we've mentioned previously is easier creation of cutscenes...which would seem to be directly relevant to you...

Physics? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=406664&post=3361565&forum=100&highlight=)
There will be some cool physics-type stuff happening in the game... but, as has been suggested, it will most likely be of the eye-candy variety. Physics-based action just doesnt mesh very well with D&D rule based play... though my goal is to make it *look* like it does.

NWN 2 System requirements? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=406607&post=3361829&forum=95&highlight=)
you know what? it's really cool that you guys want Mac and Linux versions of the game... I'd love to see it happen too. But do you think we could refrain from hijacking un-related threads for platform partisanship?

Nice to meet you folks and our friends in Canada. A side note to Chris - my mom always told me to never trust anybody that says "trust me". So I have my eye on you.

I am caught in a bit of a dilemma - for if I tell Chris he can trust me, then by my own admission he can't. But a blanket condemnation of all mustolid kind needs to be refuted. I suppose I will leave it at - nice to meet you Chris and James (and everyone else, of course:)).

Tilesets (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=406595&post=3360915&forum=99&highlight=)
If all we were doing was switching to 3.5 rules, you'd be playing NWN2 by now. The technology upgrade will be significant--there will be no original rendering or animation code in the game. What 'Tilesets' are used is still being discussed.

Craft-a-Face (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=406680&post=3361562&forum=99&highlight=)
We've looked into this technology and will continue to look into it, but there are some limitations to what it can provide us at this time. We've spoken with the middle-ware providers of the face-gen stuff and haven't gotten a solution to our problem worked out yet. We'll continue to explore this option, but as of right now, we have some other options available to us that will greatly increase character variety.

Dirty Nasty Little Rumor (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=406614&post=3361579&forum=95&highlight=)
I really hope this isn't true, or i've got a lot of missing tasks on the programming schedule (not to mention missing programmers). =) Chance of NWN2 going mmorpg is 0.0%. We have, in the past, discussed the fact that we gleaned a lot of neat interface ideas from mmorpgs. We may implement some of those ideas.
