Premium Module Sale - A Good Idea? (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=408650&post=3381586&forum=86&highlight=)
Sales figures have been just fine and I think you're all starting to overanalyze things just a little. We're currently in a scheduled research phase where we're experimenting with different ways to drive sales beyond the initial spike. We tried the gift codes, 1.65 release, and onsite promotion over the Christmas season and a couple of weeks ago we tried a brief online advertising push. Now we're experimenting with a price drop and next up ought to be the 1.1 patch release. We'll also start discussing the next generation of modules at some point as well as experimenting with a broader range of payment methods. All of this is part of a larger attempt to better understand the dynamics of an online marketplace.
