what is the meaning of 1d12 0r 2d6?
1d12 means that the damage is being rolled on a single 12 sided die. 2d6 means that the damage is being rolled on a pair of 6 sided dice.

and what is better 1d12 or 2d6 and y??
Generally speaking, 2d6 is better; 2d6 will generate a value between 2 - 12, whereas 1d12 generates a value between 1 - 12.
