improved initiative/ superior initative worth it?
A great deal of the time, you will be the one initiating combat. Since you're initiating, you also get the first attack automatically.
Can I change the death scream? (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=414998&post=3435386&forum=47&highlight=)

I'd like to cause a creature to use a different voiceset death scream only on death, but use its standard
voiceset the rest of the time. Is this possible?
I don't believe that the soundsets can be disabled in the fashion you are referring to.

I know about the PlaySound function and how I would need to have an invisible object down to actually play the sound when the creature died, but is there another way to do it? If I have to use the invisible object solution, the creature might be killed a far enough distance away that the sound wouldn't be heard.
Rather than use an invisible object, try using the PC striking the killing blow as the object from which to play the sound. That ensures that the killer, at the very least, will hear the sound.
