I would like to see horses. (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=414923&post=3442683&forum=95&highlight=)
Riding horses certainly seems to be the latest must have feature for CRPGs... WoW, Oblivion, Zelda, etc... I think that any CRPG that wants to be able to hang out with the "cool kids" at E3 this year is going to have to show a horse or two... http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_shades.gif

Multiple textures per mesh? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=415708&post=3442171&forum=99&highlight=)
At the moment, we're currently only supporting a single UV set per mesh as well as a single base (diffuse) texture. There are no plans at the moment to support anymore than that. A short explanation as to why, is that today with all the other textures required (normal, specular, possibly parallax, and some yet undisclosed, etc...some of which can be grouped and all of which have the benefit of using the same UV set) adding support for another base texture with a second set of unique UVs and allowing for it to be blended with the first base/diffuse texture can prove to be a pain/challenge in terms of efficiency for the rendering engine at the lowest level, on top of the already present challenges. Hope that helps.

We're planning on allowing players to roam quite a bit over the course of the story. There are times it definitely won't be available. That's all I can say for now. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
can the storyline involving my family? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=415338&post=3441871&forum=97&highlight=)
One of you guys nailed it on the head - the problem with having the player's actual mother and father involved is you have to keep track of every racial contingency, which can be difficult. For NWN2 we definitely want the player to feel like they have their "roots". I think most people will like what we're cooking up.
P.S. We run a semi-weekly D&D game where we play through the NWN2 campaign in PnP form, and everyone seemed to really dig the intro. Hopefully all you fans will agree. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Surely not just NWN all over again? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=415389&post=3441879&forum=95&highlight=)
We're putting an impressive amount of design zots into the single player campaign. So Editedmind, we're shooting to make your day. And just yours - everyone else is just out of luck. j/k http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
