1) Override is sticking around.
2) Talk files will still be there, but we're probably going to be changing them slightly.

Just to put this all to rest, there is a NOT flag that can be toggled in the conversation node (so you don't need to change your scripts at all). http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif

We can do .png or .jpeg without much trouble at all. I'll look into it and see what we're "allowed" to do...and whichever it seems like people want the most is what we can try and do.

<hr />Am I correct in assuming that shadermodel 3.0 is a required for this game?<hr />No, you're not. 2.0 is required, but if 3.0 is detected it will use 3.0 instead.

The new toolset which will ship with the game, is being used to create the world and tiles/terrain and place placeables etc.

system requirements? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=414331&post=3446337&forum=95&highlight=)
<hr />DirectX 9.0c uses shadermodel 3.0 only Nvidia 6 series cards support this, No ATI cards at present (Including the X800, X700, etc.) support shadermodel 3.0.<hr />That is incorrect. With DX9.0c you can use any shader model you want...from like 1.4 up to and including 3.0.So, before this goes any further. The game "requires" 2.0. Therefore, your card must support at least 2.0 to run the game.

Suggestions like this should go in the NWN2 Toolset forum. The people at Obsidian responsible for creating the tools don't check the General forum as often as they do the Toolset forum.

ORIENTAL STUFF! (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=416393&post=3448925&forum=95&highlight=)
Jade Empire should satisfy your craving for samurai and ninjas. As its name implies, the setting for Neverwinter Nights 2 will be primarily in and around Neverwinter. However, when NWN2 comes out, fans are more than welcome to use the toolset to create their own Oriental adventures (ie. Kara-Tur Nights).
