edwin has no outstanding attributes but his spell memorizatioin ability i great why's that??? (i think cause of his amulet...)

Apparently those are abilities granted to a Red Wizard of Thay which Edwin happens to be.

Apart from BTA´s point, there may be a kind of power coming from Ed´s amulet ;)

Buy a canister of red paint and ask your party members to make you into a red wizard. Fun for the whole adventuring group! :D

I think You can Use SK to make you look like Elminster. He is red. Is that good enough? Its not a patch or anything and I don't Guarantee any bonusses. But Hey. You get to be red

Or move at night and cast infravision all the time.This Should make You red too.

No, no... If you use Elminster's avatar your game will crash sooner or later because he's lacking a lot of fighting and other animations. Don't screw with that one.
