OnCastAt for placeables bugged? Confirm prior to bug report :) (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=474986&post=4049019&forum=47&highlight=)

You can also specifically modify spellscripts to send OnSpellCastAt events to specific placeables even if they are not actually affected by the AOE spells in a non-core difficulty setting.

True. Best not to change the default spells if you can avoid it, else they end up overriding any changes from patches, but all true http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

BTW, got my mage tower 'lock' mechanism set now. Defaults as Colour Spray as the key, and once inside (provided you are the master) you can change the spell that opens it http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif

So yup, it all works now. Pity you can't script the difficulty setting top-down...will just have to give players a warning onenter that if they aren't in core rules some things won't work.<hr />actually, you could change the spellIsTarget function in your module...

You know, I hadn't thought of that.. but is the SpellIsTarget funtion used in all targeting spells? (Even through includes?)

While wading through some spell changes for my own Ambrosia PW module, I do not remember it being in some spells.. tho I could just be having an alzheimer's attack and be completely incorrect in my recollection...<hr />All AoE spells use it.
