I guess it depends on what you consider large. I do know there are battles in our OC that have over a dozen folks on each side engaged in battle in close quarters.

The Lotka-Volterra Model pretty much makes all fantasy games impossible from a realistic ecological perspective, not to mention the absurd economic realities of a band of adventurers coming into a podunk town after a dungeon crawl and selling hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment to a single vendor with bottemles capital. Thankfully for fans of the genre, no one cares.

If BG2 was made today it would still get a T rating. As will NWN2.
