Patch 1.68 FAQ (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=494847&post=4291044&forum=42&highlight=)
<hr /><hr />I've got to agree about the problem for Red Dragon Disciples. There should be an in game option for displaying cloaks on your character or not. I miss seeing my characters wings, but don't want to lose the beneficial effects of wearing a cloak.
I suppose looking at it from a realism point of view then this is accurate, however it seems a shame to hide the equally well designed wings.<hr />You can edit the cloak 2da file and allow wings. Put your new 2da in override and then you should see the wings. Same for tails. Bio had to make a decision for the default but they very kindly made it so we could edit the 2da and change that http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif<hr />As she says.

More: <hr />Yeah, that's correct, but you were still doing all the job and earning the money for it with Premium modules that didn't cost Atari a penny, so Atari basically killed NWN and especially ordered a halt to Premium Modules in a brutal attempt to secure audience for NWN2. But it would be bad PR of you to agree with me in public, I guess. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif I remember how players got screwed in the ToEE time, too, when it came to patching, despite Troika guys being ready with the files.<hr />Unfounded rumours, the urban legends of the Internet.

Thanks for the cloaks! (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=494863&post=4291049&forum=42&highlight=)
<hr />THANK YOU very much everyone at Bioware! These cloaks look so, so cool, they were one thing that was always painfully missing from the game and now finally they are in it!

Great work guys, thanks again! http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif<hr />Again, the 'look so cool' thanks should all be directed at DLA, especially Lisa.

More: <hr />Yup. I remember that day when I showed some video at a DLA meeting of my tech demo for animated clothes. It was Tika Waylan's tattered skirt that started it all. I strapped some towels to my waist, took some video and the rest is history http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif<hr />*shudder*

More: <hr />Eee.. I like the new cloaks. They are a bit stiff. Pprobably tech limitations. To much movement and they would start clipping the legs when you walk I bet. No collision detection right?
<hr />Hey, this is still NWN, a 4 year old game http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Darkness over Daggerford (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=493000&post=4291055&forum=42&highlight=)
<hr />when i installed the update, (after i installed your patch seeing as i started this shortly after it was relesed)i started a new game. i noticed that as i moved the camera i would get pink shades on trees, grass, whatever. move it in another position, gone. figured it was shadows, so ituned it off. then it was the grass and ground. so i turned off all shadows completly. really it was just an annoyance thing. i can live w/out shadows. this didn't happen until i patched with 1.68<hr />Make sure you are on the lastest drivers for your graphics card.

Patch 1.68 - #21 (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=494982&post=4291060&forum=42&highlight=)
I think it is worth noting that the patches for the last 12 month or so were only possible because of the Premium Module program and it's acceptance by the community.

So a lot of the thanks for the continued support of NWN should go to those people who have participated in the Premium module program.

I think this is a good example that Digital Distribution and Micropayments, new technologies which are getting kind of a bad name lately, can be used in a fashion that benefits both the developer and the customer.

1.68 Cloaks (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=494920&post=4291066&forum=42&highlight=)
I'm sure someone will put a no cloaks 2da for use in override onto the vault momentarily http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif

30 Aug 2006 - NWN 1.68 Update Released (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=494991&post=4291156&forum=41&highlight=)
<hr />I haven't had a chance to update yet to see it for myself, but this is really cool. To verify - if I equip my Cloak of Protection +2, it will now appear?<hr />Yepp

1.68 ever for mac? (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=494906&post=4291097&forum=71&highlight=)
Oops, the beta's weren't supposed to be taken down quite yet. We're just waiting on some final testing of the beta 4 files for Mac (10.2.8 compatability), and then we'll post the full files.

They should be back now, but here's a link to the beta page:

Diamond Pack on Mac (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=493302&post=4291126&forum=71&highlight=)
To get the diamond extras (Kingmaker, etc), you have to install them onto a PC first, then copy the files over. Unfortunatly, that is the only solution available for the Mac people right now.

1.68 is now available (http://nwn.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=494845&post=4290263&forum=42&highlight=)
<hr />Is it possible to color the cloaks different colors? or is the default tan color basically it?
Thanks in advance for any help.<hr />Yes you can! Apply any dye pot and colour it like you would for armour.

More: <hr />I can't seem to find a way to prevent cloaks from showing.<hr />Don't equip a cloak?

Or modify the cloakmodel.2da file and toggle wings/tails to appear instead of being hidden.
