As Anthony said, pretty new, but I loathe the armor set on the female character in the keep. ARGHRGHS.

Why the Warlock? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com//forums/viewpost.html?topic=493459&post=4286480&forum=95&highlight=)
Warlocks do not have Imbue Item in NWN2.

I've been playing a warlock recently and they're reasonably tough (I'm only 4th or 5th level), but not crazy. Also, to be quite honest, they are pretty boring. They really don't have many options, especially at low level. I basically just use eldritch spear on everything and go to melee when forced to do so.

I saw a similar box at a local gaming store. The screenshots on the back were so old I think some were lifted from the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Holy moly, I think we have a new record for old videos, lol.

I know we say that all the time, but in the bottom left hand corner is the very first version of the player menu, and we are now on the 3rd version of said menu.

Wow.

*waits for dev post saying how old the pics are*

really like the website design http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Those are actually pretty new. I have however polished the store GUI since those pics, but overall those are pretty darn new.

Halfings shouldn't just look like mini humans. They should be a bit more plump and have larger feet

Gnomes.. well I haven't seen much on gnomes, but I'm sure they just look like mini humans.

Actually no. Halfings in DnD look pretty much like smaller humans with different skulls. Their skulls are a bit...longer.

Gnomes do not look like mini humans, they have their own build. There is a very good diagram in the PHB v3.5 in the races section that shows this along with plenty of verbage to explain it all.

In the older versions of DnD, halflings looked like hobbits, no longer.

Many of the issues in that video (for instance, the dipping down of the camera to go through doors) have been fixed. Additionally, we have four camera modes, and a lot of the aspects of the camera (for instance, the speed with which it lags behind the character) are configurable in the options menu. So, chances are, you'll find something you like.

I will say that the camera not rotating when the player is stopped is a concious decision we made - we originally had it rotating when the player was standing still, but in combat it would make you really, really queasy. The current camera modes are the result of months of tweaking, and I feel confident that everyone should be able to find a setting they enjoy available among all the various options.
<Hugs Nathaniel> Thank you, that allayed my silly fears. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

It’s going to take a bit getting used to not having the camera rotate with the character standing still though… seeing as that is how I usually look around. But I’m sure I’ll manage. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Let me clarify.

You can rotate the camera at any time using the middle mouse button. However, the camera will not automatically rotate along with the character if the character is standing still. If you want to look around when the character is standing still, you can always rotate the camera and achieve the same effect.
