rotating placeables before placing??? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=543107&post=4748723&forum=113&highlight=)
That's correct, you have to place them first and then rotate them.

We talked about it in our weekly meeting on Monday and the Lead Programmer was going to look into it this week. Like Rob, I don't have an ETA on when it will get worked on though.

Quick question on 1.04 beta (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=542989&post=4747387&forum=109&highlight=)
Right now, it is the english-only beta.

Custom Community Chat (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=543028&post=4747774&forum=115&highlight=)
Hey there!

I am going to try to be in the Community Rep IRC channel this Thursday to chat with you guys. I may try to drag Rich Taylor along with me, but no guarantees there.

We should be there around 6pm Pacific. Nothing formal, just a little Custom Content Community get-together.

We would like to hear your concerns and maybe give you a peek into what we are doing. Maybe sing some songs and make some Smore's.

More: If I am not under the influence of too much sugar or coffee, I will try to remember to save a chat log for ya http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Top 5 best of 1.04 fixes? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=543040&post=4747958&forum=109&highlight=)
My favorites are:

1. The fix for that one issue we all had
2. That other fix that really drove me crazy
3. The fix for that situation where the guy would do that
4. The new spell that goes boom in certain circumstances
5. The fix for the feat that would work real weird in that one place.

Yeah, I like this patch http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

This issue is on our list to get fixed. Not sure on the timing though.

I would like to rant on the condition of the game (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=543162&post=4749610&forum=109&highlight=)
With all fairness, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mazzuletor has had a bad experience with NWN2. I am guessing (s)he may be a European customer and the patch process hasn't gone as smoothly for them as it has for those of us in the US - or with the English version of the game.

Mazzuletor, if you are a European customer, I know it may be difficult to see the good things going on. We are working to improve the patch situation there as much as we can. Hopefully you will see improvement soon.

I may be an eternal optimist or extremely deluded, but I look through these forums and find the majority of people are enjoying the game and building mods. Is everything perfect? No. But we are committed to improving the situation.

Some people say we aren't listening to the community; that we aren't responding to your requests or paying attention to your needs. I can assure you, that is far from the reality. Every patch has been driven by the issues you have submitted. Every fix/improvement is in direct response to your feedback - and will continue to be that way.

The new Community Rep system we have now has been great so far. The clarity and focus we receive from their efforts in this short time has been extremely helpful. If you have issues with the game, or suggestions for improvement, do what you have been doing: post in these forums. Have a complaint? Post it. We learn as much from the complaints, if not more, than we do from the compliments.

So, while I certainly hope that Mazzuletor's wishes for our failure and closure don't come true, I do hope he will give us a chance to continue to improve the game. Everything great takes effort and patience.

More: <hr />Personally, even though I had higher expectations for the game and was even dissapointed in some aspects of it, in totality, I am glad I purchased it. Now I understand not everyone has had a the same experience with the game as me. This is obviously unfortunate for them, however they should be able to post their opinions and rants about the game. <hr />NWN1 - with five years of development and five years of community support is a hard act to follow. Bioware has done an awesome job with NWN1, but I would bet they attribute most of their success with NWN1 to you guys. Your ideas and customization efforts have gone a long way to make NWN1 what it is today. We hope to live up to that expectation, but it will take some time. NWN2 has been out for about 2 and a half months so far.

<hr />I am sure any developer does not only want positive feedback from their customers, if this is the case, then there would be no growth. <hr /> Well, I think we would all much rather hear the good stuff, but constructive feedback is always welcome.

<hr />To Rob: Thank you for the post, as a customer it is always good to hear from the developer once in a while so we know our voices are heard. Keep up the good work.<hr />Your voices are definately heard. We aren't going to respond to every post but we try to read as many as we can.
