<hr />Emphasis mine. Skinmeshes work in the tail, wing, cloak, and robe slots, because there's hardcoding in the engine to allow it. That's why DLA used tails for horses.<hr />Yeap, normal body parts do NOT inherit animations from the supermodels, but wings, tails, robes, cloaks, are separate models that are overlaid on top of the player model (and hides certain body parts), and mimic the animations that are played on the root model (the "pmh0" one).

Hmm, I wonder if using the custom animation slots and animroots would mix and matching face to mouth movements be possible?

Have your heirarchy like so:
- neck
- - head
- - - jaw (lip root)
- - - - lip bones
- - - facial root
- - - - facial bones

And have separate animroots to the jaw and face respectively.
