Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault (http://nwvault.ign.com). Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. You might want to take a look at NWVault.com There's a lot of great work there already for NWN2.
As an example of some cloaks, you might check out Wild Bill's work Click Here (http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NWN2HakpaksOriginal.Detail&id=72)

In an area, you should have a central set of squares that can be baked to be made walkable. Surrounding them is a buffer zone for adding depth to your areas and making your world seem bigger than it is. This buffer zone is unwalkable.

We are always looking for ways to improve communication within the NWN2 community. The Community Representative program we have implemented has been a great first step: they have been combing the forums and bringing your issues to light. They have helped us clear up some of the things we are seeing to get us to the core of the problems. The Community Rep program has helped greatly, so I urge you to use the community reps as a conduit to developer attention. Now, on to the second step of bolstering our communication with you, the community.
Many of you have seen me post that we have been looking for a way to get information to you in a more centralized location, instead of only burying it deep in the threads of these forums. Though it’s not up yet, what we have come up with is sort of an Obsidian approach to a Blog – though it won’t be a Blog in the normal sense. I doubt any of you would be interested in hearing tales of how the world is so cruel and misunderstanding for me, though I may regale you with stories of Gnomish superiority from time to time.
The Obsidian Blog site will be accessible from our own forums page (http://forums.obsidianent.com/) and will contain answers to NWN2 questions and feature some explanations as to how we were able to accomplish some of the things you see in the OC. Being a Blog site, you will also have the opportunity to comment and ask for clarification on our rambling posts.
If you are wondering if the Obsidian Blog site will replace the NWN2 forums at Bioware.com, have no fear; the forums will not go away. Nor will we stop answering questions in the forums. We will however try to duplicate the Q&A on our Blog site, so that any important information is consolidated in one easy-to-find place.
So, watch for more information on the Obsidian Blog site to come in the very near future.

We are taking a look at the organization of custom content files and hope to have something a little more streamlined and easier to manage in one of the upcoming patches.
