My machine:

Pentium 4 3.0 GHz
Windows XP Pro
2 GB RAM
ATI X1300 video card

1. Make sure you have the latest directX installed and updated.
2. Make sure your video card drivers are fully up to date
3. Make sure you have plenty of free space (at least as much as you have RAM) on your system drive
4. Make sure you have the latest .Net updates (you may have to search for these on Microsoft's website as they aren't part of the normal update)
5. Make sure your system is fully updated

The NWN2 scripting system does not currently handle advanced data structures such as B-Trees or Linked Lists. Also, the pathfinding is handled mostly through the creation of a walkmesh which, I doubt, could be modified through scripting - as the scripting sort of "sits on top" of the game code and accesses parts of the game through accessor functions.

Some people have done some great changes to AI though. You may take a look at Neverwinter Vault http://nwvault.ign.com and see what is available in the NWN2 downloads (Haks) area.

There are also some very knowledgeable people on these forums that could probably give you much better answers than I could.

Sad about the forum (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=545664&post=4777539&forum=110&highlight=)
Thoughtful and well-meaning posts that offer up constructive feedback are always welcome. Even the occaisional AAUUUGHGHH!!! post is ok.

I can usually dig down into the most flame-ridden post and find that small bit of feedback we need to make things better.

Telling a hot dog vendor that you don't like the food will affect change. Tipping the vendor's cart over and grinding the hot dogs into the ground, all the while screaming at the vendor and passersby and throwing saurkraut all over the place has a slightly different effect. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Class Focus: Wizard (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=545112&post=4777608&forum=109&highlight=)
Limit reached. Time for the next class.

Class Focus: Warlock (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=545673&post=4777615&forum=109&highlight=)
Alrighty then.

We already talked about the Wizard class. Let's spend some time on the warlock. How is warlock overpowered? How is warlock underpowered? How could the warlock be made more fun to play?

Ready.... Go!

Well, crud. Didn't see this thread.

Oh well, the "official" thread is up and stickified!

Each week I will post a sticky focusing on a single character/prestige class. Last week we talked about Wizards. This week, the topic is Warlocks.

I will continue this until we have gone through each class.
