Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault (http://nwvault.ign.com). Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

Will NWN Go SDK? (http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=548156&post=4810413&forum=42&highlight=)
That's correct - it's not that we don't want to, we've seen what sorts of creative solutions the community has come up with (heck, I myself am responsible for a couple, like horses http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif ) and can only imagine what would be possible with full access. And it would be good to release it much like id Software did with the Quake 1-3 and allow up and coming game developers pick it apart and learn from it.
Plus it means you guys won't be bothering us for features. And you can see how hard it REALLY is to add something in (every time someone suggests feature x "would be really easy to do", a developer dies somewhere). http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
But there is a matter of licensing with Atari, WotC and Hasbro. And before someone says "Well wouldn't it be easy if you just ripped the D&D code out and then release it?", I'll give you three guesses on how integrated the engine is with the D&D rules.
/me dies.
