I don't normally lock threads but this one has turned into nothing but name-calling.

I have re-created the 1.04 bug thread and the spell bug thread - both stickied at the top of the forum.

Do any of you still have a save from just before entering the flagon?

We cannot reproduce this issue, so we need a save from you guys to see if we can fix this. Thanks.

Activate occurs only when the user actively selects to activate it.

If you want to run a script "on hit", then you'll want to use the item property: onhit: cast spell - unqiue power.
Use the suffix "_hc" for your script name.

You can get script templates for all the different types of item scripts. Select "add from template" from the context menu when adding a new script.
