Does DEV'S toolset crash? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=570714&post=5089899&forum=113&highlight=)
Actually, without looking at the database, I would say the ratio of new features to bug fixes is about 1:150+. So, for every 150 bugs we fix, we may put in a new feature. I actually think it's much higher than that as the only new feature that comes to mind right now is Undo. But hey, it's early.
It's also good to realize that in this instance, a bug would be an entire feature not working. There may be a lot of bugs that have to be fixed in order to fix the bigger bug at hand.

So tell me where Obsidians priorities are going right here.
So what are you trying to say/imply -- that they are not fixing bugs? Or that perhaps they are just picking 'fun' enhancements to implement that have nothing to do with the community input? I can't see what else your point could be.
All I am trying to say is that from a customers point of view it looks like Obsidian are spending valuable time creating new features when it could be better spent focusing on more bug fixes first. I realise this may not be the case but as Obsidians customers some of us need showing that this isn’t the case to keep our spirits up and not lose faith. I’ve read so many people saying they would prefer the fixes to the features but not the latter. As Rob above has said the ratio of new features to bug fixes is about 1:150+. So, for every 150 bugs we fix, we may put in a new feature. So why is it if we read the change logs we see an average of about 50:50 new features and bug fixes? Are they fixing more than they can list in the log? And if so can these 150 bug fixes for every new feature be viewed somewhere by us customers? Also what if the time it took to create all those new features were spent on fixing bugs? Would we still have a toolset that doesn’t crash so often by now? Would we still have AT crashes online by now? Would we still have so many server crashes by now? Surely you can understand from my point of view why I wonder?
The game was released late last year and we are already just over half way through the following year of its release. People do get bored of waiting for games to come right especially when there are other games out there with less problems to chose from and people do leave games never to return and never to purchase another game from the Authors. People do remember when they have been let down. And most importantly people do read press reviews and user reviews before they buy and unfortunately NWN2 has some ugly ones in regards to all of the bugs. Which brings me back to my concern about Obsidians priorities.
Shock Wolf, you sound like one of those people that will never be happy unless we do things exactly your way.
Sorry to disappoint you but we will probably never be able to live up to your expectations then. We are fixing far more bugs than features being put in and those features being added are from the community's requests. Should we not have added undo to the toolset? Should we not give new models or texture? Perhaps we should not worry about wizards in the toolset either?
It could be that you experience more issues than most. In that case I can understand your concern. But if you are experiencing more issues than most, then your issues may be related to your system as well.

If you play with DebugMode set to 1, you will see the triggers. It's been that way all along.
