Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault (http://nwvault.ign.com). Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

Does DEV'S toolset crash? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=570714&post=5091829&forum=113&highlight=)
Shock Wolf- No, I do not think you are selfish, but it does seem as though you have already made up your mind. You can go through the patch notes and see many of the bug fixes. Unfortunately, to date, we have not focused much on the toolset. Which may be why it seems we aren't fixing much to you.
I invite you to come into the IRC chat channel to chat with me or the Community Reps and you will get a better idea of what is going on. Here is the information:
IRC: irc.neverwinterconnections.com
Public Channel: NWN2CR
I am generally there from 7 AM to 5PM Monday through Friday, and there is pretty much always a CR or experienced builder in there.
July PC Gamer dumps on NWN 2 (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=570302&post=5091840&forum=109&highlight=)
<hr /><hr />We don't want to suffer through amateurish attempts anymore - we did that with NWN1<hr />I disagree with you there, just because NWN was less sophisticated doesn't make the mods amateur. Play through the Rose of Eternity mods and then see if you are willing to make that statement again.<hr />Heh. I am not saying the tools result in an amateurish mod. I am saying the efforts of the modder orten resulted in an amateurish mod. That's the nature of mod making: some mods will outstanding - others not so much.
I am also saying that now, people have little patience for the amateurish mods. They want nothing but the outstanding mods and often throw insults at the modder that is just starting out, after playing their mod.
And yes, we knew early on that mods would take much longer to make. We didn't even expect to see any PWs until about the six month mark.

<hr />How about an RSS feed?<hr />Hmm... We might be able to do something with the Blogs on Obsidian's forums. Perhaps just a patch notification Blog.
Possible Bug Need Confirmation (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=571161&post=5091859&forum=117&highlight=)
This may be fixed in 1.07.
I believe what was happening was that the kill command on the context menu was only taking creatures down to wounded status, not actually killing them.
In 1.07, the kill command will take them to -11 hit points and they will be dead. dead. dead.
Custom Races/Subraces (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=564568&post=5091985&forum=115&highlight=)
Right now, the ability to use custom classes/races is the same as NWN1. Future patches may see improvement.

Make sure you have the latest video drivers as well. That seems to be a common cause of problems.
