Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault (http://nwvault.ign.com). Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

I mean somthing where I can report a bug an be sure, that it is seen by the devs?<hr />No answer to this?<hr />If your issue is caused by the 1.06 patch, you can post it in this thread.
Also, if your issue is critical, you can PM me.

<hr />They should at least give us access to enough that we can make new classes. Feats and spell lists...<hr />You can create races/subraces, classes and feats now.
For spell lists, you can create spells like in NWN1. But we would love to add in the ability to create custom spell lists that are easier to work with custom classes.

To have a fat or muscular character, we are talking about phenotype.
At one point we had looked at adding that in, but the problem would be that we would need to more than double the amount of armor, items and clothing models; each phenotype has to have it's own models for that to work.
It's not complicated, just very time consuming.

<hr />I love advertising but come on now, enough of the devs mentioning mods and other mod-makers. It's like a clique, having a Hall of Fame and such. Perhaps you didn't read the entire exchange?
More: (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=570302&post=5094161&forum=109&highlight=)<hr />NWN2's toolkit would, IMO, benefit from greater documentation at least. But I've seen so many threads starve in the other forums waiting for information back form developers on specific questions that I'm beginning to question if we'll ever see that documentation.
<hr />Very good point. The problem is that the old argument of zots still holds even for documentation.
For the average toolset user, there are numerous tutorials and videos out there. For the more advanced user, not so much.
More: (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=570302&post=5094703&forum=109&highlight=) Generally, it's the dev team that produces the very basic of the documentation and the community ends up doing more advanced and/or indepth documentation.
But, I can see where this is a weakness now, and it would help to have the information as quickly as possible.
So, to help here, give me a list of a few things and I will see what documentation we can produce. What advanced topics do you think we could shed some light on?
No guarantees on this because this documentation would be a "spare time" sort of thing, but I will see what we can get or already have.

No new news as of right now. We have a few more things we will be trying internally on Monday and going from there.
We have not forgotten about you.
Complicating this, as you can see by the posts in this thread, not everyone is having the same problem.

1. Make sure you have the latest version of .Net from Microsoft.
2. Make sure you have the latest Direct X
3. Make sure you have the latest video drivers
Those of you that have sent me your DXDiags, please do these three things then try to start the game again. send an e-mail to let me know how it turns out.

I believe video drivers from the various manufacturers are still in the works/being optimized by the card manufacturers. That may be the cause of your problem.
I have also heard people have had great success in Vista with running NWN2 in XP mode.

Modifying creature heights in 2das is actually relatively easy. I caught that FR elf heights were off late in the development process. I changed drow to be shorter than standard elves because I knew there were no drow in critical OC cutscenes (cutscenes often use "real" height values instead of being offset from character head/halo bones).
I was afraid of changing the values for other elves because there were a fair number in cutscenes or "maybe" in cutscenes. I didn't want to screw up the designers' cutscenes so close to the end of the project, so I opted to leave them alone.
