Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault (http://nwvault.ign.com). Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. This discussion appears to be spiraling downwards.
As for regeneration on items, you always have the choice to not use them.

Let's try to keep the convo here, since it belongs here... but here's another thread for ya:

Are you installing fresh or is this a reinstall after uninstalling the game, or is it something altogether different?

<hr />Hey,
I have a pretty similar problem. The whole game just freezes. I can't move, but i can zoom. And time keeps passing, trees swaying and all that. I have the latest version and 51.3GB space free on that drive.
Any advice?<hr />It actually sounds like you may be hitting pause by mistake. Try hitting the spacebar and see what happens when you run into this.
Any ETA for custom class fix? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=578750&post=5192891&forum=109&highlight=)

Take a look.
This is what is waiting for Players of NWN2 as soon as Obsidian fixes Custom Classes.
In fact, it has been waiting almost the whole time.
Things like <hr />Quote: The PRC now stands at 126 classes, 60+ Epic spells, 300+ new spells, several hundred new feats, 60+ new races, Psionics, Truenaming, PnP Crafting, Spellbooks, Domains, 2 Character Creators, and a host of other goodies for players and builders alike.<hr /><hr />Yes, actually with the 1.06 beta we asked for some feedback from the Custom Content Community. We needed to know if everything was working to allow Custom Class Creation to go forward. When we asked for beta testing on this issue, the feedback we received was that everything was working fine and, so, the 1.06 patch was finalized.
Now, just a couple weeks ago, I was informed that it is not working fine.
We cannot continue on like this. If anyone would care to be a dedicated beta tester for Custom Class creation, just let me know. But silence from the modding groups does the community no good. All we ask for is a bit of cooperation in the form of beta testing when the beta patches are released.

<hr />That is not true.
You said, both in this forum and in #nwn2cr, that the custom classes fix did not make the 1.06 beta. So 1.06 final would have been the first opportunity anyone had to test if the fix had worked or not. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_look.gif <hr />You may be thinking of what someone told you.
I ended up working with a PW developer to finally get feedback, because others would not help due to being busy with other projects and other things. 1.06 originally was held from final waiting on this feedback - we were told it was still an issue. When we received that word that all was well, we finalized 1.06 then started working on the securom issues associated with 1.06 final, when 1.06 final was released. We then were told all was well with the custom class issue in 1.06 final. Mixed in with all of this was the texture swapper for tilesets as well that was pulled.
Either way, this issue has been a thorn in the side of the community as a whole. We need feedback from you guys. Don't assume that someone has sent me a PM saying X or Y. Because in many cases, they haven't. When it comes to adding content to the game, we do not do things the same way you guys (modders) do. If you want things to work a certain way, then you guys need to work with us and make sure we 1) understand the issue, 2) Understand the issue's priority and 3)have fixed it to your liking.
2 things. (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=579079&post=5193718&forum=110&highlight=)
1. What class are you playing?
2. Is Bevil with you?
3. What weapons do you have?
4. What difficulty level are you playing on?

How would I make an item that starts a conversation whenever activated? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=578965&post=5192264&forum=114&highlight=)
The default set up requires the script name to have a prefix and suffix attached. See the Item Activate script template for details. (Script Templates are available from the context menu when creating a new script).
