Dear Rob,

I would like to have your opinion about the industry if it is safe for you to voice them and it it is ok for you. Why do you say infancy for instance? Afterall you are an insider and I am always ready to learn the dynamics.
My opinion on the industry is unimportant and nowhere near as informed as others. My suggestion is to check out gamasutra.com

Though, I must say the reality of things is nowhere near as important as what the customer perceives as reality.

Many times there are two sides to the prestige classes. You can't just look and say that just because they cast arcane spells they only benefit arcane casters. Many are designed to augment the other classes as well.

Also, did you get to see how wandering monster encounters were handled while resting? Can you still rest anywhere?
Some areas you are not allowed to rest in (like when a guard might come through and wake you up). Other areas you can rest in but are considered hostile, so you have a percentage chance to be attacked by wandering monsters appropriate to the area.

Scratch one for nostalgia I guess, haha.

Anyways, it's good that there are some resting restrictions now. Only thing I hope for is that there is a possibility to be awakened by some fierce monsters, and have a tough battle on your hands. Not just have "cannon fodder" (I remember how I hated being woken up stuff like gibberlings in Baldurs Gate) to wake you up so to speak.
But whatever the case may be, it's definetely a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif Anything that will make me hestitate reaching for that rest button after every encounter is good.
Just to be clear (as I seem to not be), the guards will not actually wake you up. I was trying to say that in an area where guards would not normally let you sleep, you will not be able to rest - which probably still doesn't make sense http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif

So, simply: you cannot rest in some areas.

There were no errors in the toolset when verifying the .2da file, I made sure ALL day/night settings were set to a particular song in each of the areas, but I just found that NO music plays during the game (even the stock music). So something is definitely wrong with one of the BMU's.
Did you happen to play any of the music tracks using Windows Media Player?
