I am using a 400Mhz PII as server for NWN. I have noticed that, when I use a performance counter to count any data and sent it to a SQL server, the CPU utilization of the NWN server is at least doubled. (on a faster XP machine, it's at 80% CPU constantly while it was peaking at 25-30% before)

I assume this could be looked into and fixed for the new patch?

Davor<hr />I don't think so. Please do a search on the topic of CPU load and our stance on it.

Also, I'm not sure why you are bolding SQL server in your post. NWN does not support any SQL connectivity out of the box and therefore we care very little what happens when you send game data to SQL servers http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

IIRC not being able to kill children was a requirement for the German version of the game. Germany has some strict laws about violence in video games w.r.t. children and also showing red blood (although other colors of blood seem to be ok).
