So, I think everyone in this thread needs to calm down.

To paraphrase Mark Twain: Rumors of NWN2's death have been greatly exaggerated.

If you want to know if a game is doing well, then you just look at the business activities:

1. There is an expansion, soon to be released.
2. There is ongoing support
3. Atari has stepped up their efforts

All of this takes money and it would not be going on if the outlook for the game was grim.

There will always be people that spew forth a dark future for every game. It happens on every game forum. There are people on the WoW forums that shout out how bad something is handled in WoW and that the devs don't listen to their community. Go take a look at the Fallout 3 forums and see what goes on there. It's the nature of the internet and some people are not happy unless they are miserable. Don't let them drag you down with them. Don't get caught up in the rhetoric.

Most of you know I am far from a marketing or PR guy. I give you bad news as well as good news. Many of you hate the way I don't soften what I have to say. I try to speak as straight-forwardly as possible. I think you all deserve that. You have stuck with a game franchise through two developers and many years of difficulties and improvements. If I thought things looked bad for NWN2's future, I would not be posting this.

Neverwinter Nights is a different game from most others. You can tell by the forum posts that a lot of passion goes into the game - not just from the devs, but from the fans as well.

But once again, we come to a very special question: why does NWN2 have to compete with NWN1? Why does one game have to lose so that the other can win? We can argue about this for years, and probably will.

Arguing about this stuff is a waste of time.

Is there a list published of all stat numbers? (http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewpost.html?topic=581487&post=5226136&forum=113&highlight=)
For skills like Bluff or Intimidate, you'll want to use gc_skill_rank (just compares your total ranks) or gc_skill_dc (does a d20 roll and adds the PC's skill ranks to determine final score). Make sure to hit the Refresh button after attaching the condition check to make the script parameters (nSkill, nDC) appear.

You'll notice when attaching those condition checks that the scripts will appear in the window. The scripts themselves contain the skill list. For example, 0 = Appraise, 1 = Bluff, 2 = Concentration, and so forth.
