There is now new video evidence showing just how dangerous and malicious that tackle on B'OD was. The man easily could have had his career ended or even died as a result of that horrific challenge.
Now, not being a massive rugby fan I don't care all that much and this should not detract from the fact that the Lions were an absolute disgrace on that tour.
However, should situations like mean more pressure to introduce a board in rugby that re-visits past incidents and punishes the wrong-doers? Like we have in football? I think it's something worth serious discussion as a lot of big injustices could go completely unpunished.

I think they need to do more to try and deal with these things at the time. There should be enough official camera angles to use without having to resort to potentially unreliable amateur video.

I think that there was sufficient evidence at the time to show that Tana Umaga and Keven Mealamu meant what they did, but I also think the IRB bottled it as it was the All-Blacks captain IMHO.
