I'm a NHL fan but I have to update to the new generation because it's been several years since last watched.

Not sure about the second picture, but the first one is of Steve Moore of the Colorado Avalanche. He had been hit with a dirty shot from behind by Todd Bertuzzi of the Vancouver Canucks.
