Wow. That Brian Lara sure showed the Australians a thing or two yesterday. 202 not out. Now only 12 runs away from being the highest scorer in the history of test cricket. Historic stuff.

Now only 12 runs away from being the highest scorer in the history of test cricket. Historic stuff. Barmy Army Fri, 25th Nov '05, 8:12pm What a player. SatansBedFellow Fri, 25th Nov '05, 8:15pm Definitely, it was a pure masterclass from one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the game and a delight to watch. Harbourboy Fri, 25th Nov '05, 8:54pm He must also be one of the most inconsistent batsmen in history. He seems to get 300 or nothing most of the time but that works out to still being pretty awesome. Barmy Army Fri, 25th Nov '05, 9:04pm He either wins matches or loses them for WI really. His batting back-up is generally poor (with the odd exceptions like Chanderpaul, Gayle), which really just shows his class more. A lot of his high scoring innings have been cut short because he's run out of partners! Harbourboy Sat, 26th Nov '05, 12:59am Well, he has just become the highest runscorer ever now, passing Allan Border. And he's still going. Lucky the tail enders are hanging around for him a little bit. |
