No need to explain. If you know them, you know them. If you don't, you don't. They are the only two in their field who i know of, initially. i just want to see how famous is the first compare with the second, who is think might be just as good as the first. The third is there for trivial reason.

i think 2 biggest reasons he gets noticed before his talent are his hair style and his eye balls.

If Collina and Poll were both undeads, then based on cleverness, Collina would be the lich and Poll the zombie. My choice for Collina being a lich is based on looks as well.

Collina was the best - probably the only one who did not get booed, because he rarely made a poor decision (Everton fans may disagree!).

I am an Everton fan, but I have always believed that Pier-Luigi was the best referee and with hindsight you could see how he based his decisions, usually very well.

I only mentioned Everton, because he did make a bad decision in one of his last games (Everton v Villarreal, Champion's League qualifier).

I fully understand that Everton fans may also think Collina was the best - my comment was just a flippant one (Liverpool fans, including myself, like poking fun of Everton fans almost as much as poking fun at Man Utd fans! At least the recent 3-0 drubbing allows you to poke fun at me!)
