Here are today's Dragon Age forum highlights, taken from the Dragon Age Official Forum (http://forums.bioware.com/viewforum.html?forum=84). Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

Bioware is neglecting us a little (http://forums.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=482112&forum=84&sp=0)

<hr />We didn't see anything for the PC from Bioware at E3 and that is dissapointing to many avid PC gamers. Many people seem to think Dragon Age is vaporware and rightfully so. I understand that it was announced really early, but I don't think it is the best marketing to give the community such a small amount of info because most have already forgotten this game exists.

Peace<hr />
The main thing to keep in mind... is that we're not marketing Dragon Age yet. It also doesn't really matter if some people think the game is vaporware, since we aren't trying to prove anything to anyone.

When we're ready to start promoting the game, you'll know it. In the meantime, if there are some questions you have about the game... ask them. If we're able/allowed to answer them, we will.

BioWare Appreciation (http://forums.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=481736&forum=84&sp=45)

The opinions brought up on this forum are often referenced when we discuss things for the game. Indeed, you could think of the forum as one more voice in those meetings -- sometimes playing devil's advocate but most often expressing the fan point of view on general systems if not specific feedback (at least not yet).

While it's a constant presence, however, it is just one more voice. We're not here to take orders (I assume that's what you mean by "take input", from context) and you're not a focus group -- we're here to get opinions, mostly unsolicited but sometimes not. If you expect to have more of a say than simply being part of that voice, you're asking for disappointment. I've seen more than one armchair designer who gets angry when their opinions aren't held in higher regard than the others here and who assume that if their advice is met with anything other than "yes, okay, we'll do that" that we obviously must not be listening... which is too bad, because for all that we're pretty interactive here. You're going to have a lot more influence engaging us in a discussion or an argument than if we were just to passively watch you all talk to each other -- but that's influence as in presenting an interesting opinion and actually listening to the responses as opposed to the usual internet m.o. of lording over everyone how very right you are and acting anonymously in a way you never would face-to-face. And that's as far as it goes.

As to those who are expressing appreciation: thanks. I would hate to respond only to negative posts, as that seems kind of counter-productive, and I'll say that on many days being engaged by such passionate folk such as you all makes my work that much more interesting. http://forums.bioware.com/_commonext/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif</img>

Bioware is neglecting us a little (http://forums.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=482112&forum=84&sp=0)

Although I understand you want Dragon Age or information about it, you can't overlook what we has been made by BioWare for the PC. We have continued to make NwN modules (Infinite Dungeons, our latest, goes on sale this week), we make KotOR for the PC and now we are making Jade Empire for the PC.

It may not be what you want, but that doesn't mean that we are ignoring the PC in any way.
