Here are today's Dragon Age forum highlights, taken from the Dragon Age Official Forum (http://forums.bioware.com/viewforum.html?forum=84). Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

2D and 3D (http://forums.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=491367&forum=84&sp=15)
I wouldn't mind working with a 2D game again, myself.
But the plain fact is that doing so would mean that such a game would be relegated to secondary status in the eyes of the media. There really is an expectation that the latest technology must be used, good or bad, in order to avoid appearing dated -- because as soon as you look dated, you're no longer a triple-A title. Period.
I know that some people here are very enthusiastic supporters of the IE and might not really care about graphics being top-notch, but it isn't really fair to expect us to handicap our own game right out of the gate.
And even on the outside chance that we could still drum up wide enthusiasm for a potential 2D title... it doesn't really save us any time. 2D sprites are not much easier to work with. And if it's an argument of artistic style, I'd have to say that 3D is really starting to come into its own. 3D doesn't have to automatically mean photo-realism anymore -- just look at the Witcher if you want examples of 3D environments that are evocative of mood.
There simply is no comparison, artistically, between DA and NWN1. They are light years apart, and I think you'll like what you see when we start showing it.

Soon I know, but will there be more than 1 title? (http://forums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html?topic=490500&forum=84&sp=30)
Fair enough. If you feel it's worth the money, then more power to you. I suppose I might feel the same way if I was sufficiently frustrated enough at my inability to gain easy access to spell creation and enchanting, but I'm not in the habit of purchasing tiny helpful add-ons for my games; I prefer to have them more or less complete right out of the box.
Will DA music composed by Inon Zur? (http://forums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html?topic=491968&forum=84)
I'm voting for Oingo Boingo reunion, myself. Maybe get Zamfir and Trent Reznor together to hash out some angry yet soothing industrial pan flute tunes. Or the unholy combination of Aphex Twin and Rick Astley.
Regardless, I think we'll find someone who'll do the job right.
