I have 4 questions to ask you.

1. when i click on a .umod it brings up "open with" whats wrong?

2. When i making a new Mutli player game i can't use maps i downloaded.

3. When the skins are in .int and .utx i put them in their right folders. but when i reload the game they are not there.

4. It says only registered user can chat. Where do i register? If you know where i can register, i can ask the questions in the chatrooms. That will hlep me alot.

I hope you UT players know what im trying to say. Thanks for the Help

Ask Amon-Ra. He once said, that he was number two on the official list of UT players.

UMOD is opened with Setup.exe in UT's System folder (Pinpoint the path in through browse..). If it does not work, then registyr entries are wrong, and you should reinstall the game or correct registry manually. (The keys are somewhere in local machine/software)

Maps and skins... That's a tough one. You have to reinitialize th engine for enacting the maps you have downloaded (each time the game starts it read the .int files in system folder). Is it for ALL maps or just for some? If all, better buy a licensed version of the game ;).

Grovflab: Amon-Ra doesn't come on here any more. I should know, he's one of my best friends. And, BTW, he used to be #1 in the world at Capture the Flag. He's very pathetic that way, but he's also extreamly intelligent for his age.

oh hey I remember Amon-Ra postin around the boards. I didn't know he took off. I know I speak for everybody, tell him we all miss him.

Alrighty, will do. I still talk to him nearly every day and play D&D with him. Actually we're even playing D&D today. He's really a great DM.

Back to UT...

Someguy on UT said i need to download some program . instead of your map dispearing in a couple days. it gets installed in your Ut folder. Does anyone know what he is talking about? If yes: where can i get it??
