Has anybody ever played this? I'm thinking of buying it and would like to know what it's about.

I played this after Total Annihilation (original) and TA:CC that were my favourite RTS at the time, but if you like fantasy RTS i would suggest wait for Warcraft III because TA engine is great for robots, but dragons and beasts, well not so great!

And overall, TA: Kingdoms, they are good, but spare your money, borrow it or if you can't, then wait for you know what:)

I agree TA:Kingdom has lots of issues. They put out a patch and an expanion Iron Plague but I wouldn't pay more than $5 or each. I think TA and TA:CC were SO much better.
