There's no pattern to it, one moment I'll be playing, then the next I see a black screen, then the boot sequence starts. It's getting to the point that when I see that stupid red COMPAQ logo show up, I want to throw the computer out the window! Does anyone have any insights as to why this may be happening?
THis doesn't happen any other time, just when I'm playing BG. Come to think of it, I had this problem with 1 and 2. I run Win98.. can't think of any other pertinent info right now.

My computer reboots as soon as I start the game if I don't have the patch installed. Do you have it patched?
