I remember one called Vampire Embrace that I used way back when I first played Morrowind. It was pretty cool.

Constance NPC is nice. She has quests and stuff, and steals things for you. She somehow stole 300 eggs, dumped them on me and let the guards take me away, which was a pain.

Upgraded Telvanni stronghold: Uvirith Vault and Green Uvirith, I think they are. Creates a town, Tel Uvirith, around the Telvanni stronghold, with mage's guild and silt strider, expands the stronghold itself with a nice (empty) display room and a quest.

Animal Behaviour: may seem like cheating to some. Stops weak things like rats and cliff racers from attacking you, unless they're blighted. Saves a lot of frustration. Cliff racers were very annoying. Full list from the top of my head: rats, kwama foragers, cliff racers, slaughterfish. Maybe others.

Gladiator: lets you fight in the Vivec arena for money outside of quests that send you there.

Great House Dagoth: join House Dagoth, and ascend from humble ash slave to ascended sleeper. Obviously scuppers the main quest, but this mod pwns.

Complete Morrowind: adds skills for things like carpentry, sewing, cooking etc. Also lets you chop down trees for wood. More freedom is nice.

Juniper's Twin Lamps: expands the anti-slavery bit with a full guild. Get slavery banned.

That's not nearly all the mods I have installed; just the ones I like most.

The Visual XT texture replacement mod and Balmorra Expanded(for the arrow and furniture shops) mods were pretty neat.

Alright, I'll take that back, best Morrowind mod ever is The Illuminated Order, find the secrets behind liches, coprus, vampires and lycantrophy all mixed up in one great mod!!
