It's released days before I go home from uni for easter.

At home I have no good computer. So I can either not play it when it arrives at my uni residence and be driven insane by temptation for a few days, or I can play it and sit in my room gibbering with desire for the month I spend at home.

A painful decision. :wail:

Well my compy simply cannot play it, so I guess I'll have to wait for a new one... sigh... :(

The screenshots are incredible. Another reason to upgrade.

Yeah well I'll need to buy a good graphics card as well then, anyone knows which company bribed Bethesda for specific graphical features?

I also use an older computer that can't run it. I've been resisting upgrading because there have been so few new RPGs. Oblivion might be the push I need, to get better equipment. I don't think I need the best; I can probably get something good enough for 2k or less.

realease date in europe will be later. Most here say march 24. I might just be able to play it with my current pc. But $2000 as sparrow states sound way to much. But it will be worth it. Not only oblivion comes, but stormreach also appears to be in the european shelves on the 24. And after that, nwn2.

I went ahead and pre-ordered it today with 1 day shipping. This looks to be a game that will keep me very busy until either NWN 2 or Dragon Age come out.

Looks like my system meets the recommend specs as well so I guess I can expect to be able to turn up most of the eye candy.

I honestly considered upgrading my computer, since it "only" meets the recommended reqs. I really want to upgrade my old AGP X800 so it looks even more beautiful. But I'd need £500-£600 for nice SLI graphics (including new mobo), so I'll have to stick with it only looking amazing :(
