View Full Version : Vivec's Armigers
chevalier Sat, 11th Mar '06, 2:22pm Does anyone else like those guys? I'm actually impressed. They seem to be capable warriors and when I entered their outpost in Ghostgate, there were books everywhere. They were very polite and kind despite the not so stellar reaction (69). Great guys, I think.
The Kilted Crusader Sat, 11th Mar '06, 6:02pm I like their armour - just a shame you can't wear it without them wanting to kill you :p
I think there are quests where you actually have to kill a few of these guys - I liked these as they gave you a reasonably challenged fight away from Cliffracers ;)

Those are the ordinators, the bouyant armigers do not have a standard uniform.
chevalier Sun, 12th Mar '06, 12:45pm To build a bit on my previous post, I like the idea that a warrior should be cultured, somehow acquainted with literature, even poetry, and somewhat well-versed in cultural matters. Without exaggerating it too much, because it's not like you should get a Master of Arts degree to join the army, but I still like it. I take it they have some kind of an honour code if they are so much about kindness and politeness and all. ;)
Incarnate Sun, 12th Mar '06, 8:15pm At 12 reaction they are not very polite , the temple faction doesn't like me very much .
I wonder if an Storm Atronach would raise their reaction
Too bad I already have a full set of glass armour or that would be a great place to get some :)

I think there are quests where you actually have to kill a few of these guys - I liked these as they gave you a reasonably challenged fight away from Cliffracers Bah, cliffracers. It's not like they are difficult (not at all), it's just that you can't walk for 2 metres without hearing that stupid sound they make. I hate em, I hate em, I hate em! Wish there was a mod that removed them, or something that gave the air-borne enemies some more variety. And less of them.
Hacken Slash Mon, 13th Mar '06, 2:47pm There is a mod that makes only blighted or diseased animals attack you and the rest leave you alone unless you attack them. I'm not sure what its called, but I've seen it at numerous sites.
Cantlos Mon, 13th Mar '06, 7:46pm That would be cool, Trying to play a druid/ranger type and constantly being attacked by animals isn't really thematic.
'Hi! I'm a druid and I kill every animal I see since my knowledge of animals and how to deal with them comes down to 2 things: Sneaking (ha! with my skill?), or killing them.'
ObviousDelirium Sun, 19th Mar '06, 6:33am Bah, cliffracers. It's not like they are difficult (not at all), it's just that you can't walk for 2 metres without hearing that stupid sound they make. I hate em, I hate em, I hate em! Wish there was a mod that removed them, or something that gave the air-borne enemies some more variety. And less of them. There are many mods that remove cliffracers, you're far from being the only one who finds them annoying, there's also a mod that add different varieties of cliffracers with different abilities and the like.
I believe you should be able to find MW mod sites quite easily, some are listed on the Elder Scrolls official site too.
