A BWL visitor had quite a few questions about BG2 item editing, so a few days ago I also made a very short introduction to the basics of dialog.tlk's system.
I thought I would mention it here too, because some non-modder players might be interested how dialog.tlk works, or what happens behind the scenes when gibberish (or a sword's name) appears in a game dialogue instead of clear sentences.
Of course, if you're an advanced user or a BG2 mod maker, you know these things in a higher level, so the document will say you nothing new.
