View Full Version : Mage Stronghold help with Knights quest.

ok im doing the mage stonghold quests, and without meaning to i ended up telling the knights they would have to stay in Fae'run, or whatever that dialogue option is, before i went to go see Rybald, so he could send them home.

and no i didnt think to load an earlier save a hit the right option at the time, and its too late now.

is there hopefully a way i can just CLUAConsole them in? that friend of rybald's is ready to send them home, the only problem is, i have no knights.

unless they just go somewhere like say the Order of the Radiant heart base or something, if you tell them they'll have to stay, coz they arent in the mage stronghold anymore.

Has the bloke who gives you the stronghold (Teos) told you about Ribald yet? Because the first time you mention it he kinda brushes it off and doesn't say much. You can then talk to the knights and say something along the lines of "I've got no idea" and then in a few days when Teos comes back he'll mention the Ribald option. Its not until this second conversation that you'll be able to get the dialogue option from Ribald about the mage he knows who can send them home. (I kind of thought I screwed it up last time I played it after assuming you can send them home after the 1st conversation)....so ye just a thought.

that friend of rybalds is in the sphere ready to send them home, but the knights arent there, i already said they would have to stay, which seems to causes them to leave the sphere, where they go i do not know.

and heres my problem, ive got the mage dude standing their awaiting me to talk to the knights and ask them if they are ready to go home, only they arent there.

ah righteo -i missread
the .cre files for the knights are as follows
Renya - OBSSOL01
Onvo- OBSSOL02
Ancan-OBSSOL03
So
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("OBSSOL01")
Should....hopefully do it
If it doesn't then changing a few global variables might work; I'm not too confident in my ability to produce these, but the area file is AR0411 for anyone who has the expertise to look.

[Edit] before spawning the knights try
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("MoveKnights","AR0411",0)

sorry to double post,

but when i try the "CLUAConsole:CreateCreature..." commands it says error file not found.

Sorry I left out the quotation marks,
it should have read:
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("OBSSOL01")
I've edited my above post to reflect this and tested the codes in game.
Many apologies for the error.

oh ok. Im not overly familiar with CLUAConsole, its been ever so long since i last used it.


ill give that a try, hopefully that works. kind of annoying have the mage just standing there ready to help on a quest i cant do.
