Subject heading says it all. I used to post in sorcerers place quite regularly a long time ago, but gave up, because of extremely rude and obnoxious people. What would be nice, is if you could either block their pm's or hide their posts in a thread so you don't have to read and put up with their rubbish. It would make dealing with the forums a lot more pleasant experience.

Who says you can't? I'm not sure who you consider to be extremely rude and obnoxious here, but anyway, click on their username, select "View Public Profile" and above the Contact Info table on the profile page you'll see the option to add them to your ignore list. You won't see any posts or get any PMs from people on your ignore list.
