was just wondering if the Bioware NPC biographies were on SP somewhere. I don't really want to have to go through the process of recruiting every NPC to read their bio's.

View Full Version : Bioware NPC biographies Elfen Lied Wed, 28th Nov '07, 1:26am was just wondering if the Bioware NPC biographies were on SP somewhere. I don't really want to have to go through the process of recruiting every NPC to read their bio's. Taluntain Wed, 28th Nov '07, 2:02am http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/Walkthrough/npcs.php Elfen Lied Wed, 28th Nov '07, 2:14am yeh i actually found it shortly before you replied. I was really looking for whether or not it actually said where each character came from. Minsc - Rashamen Jaheira - Tethyr Mazzy - Trademeet Keldorn - Athkatla Anomen - Athkatla etc. anyone here know that information? Marceror Wed, 28th Nov '07, 3:39am --I think Valygar is from Athkatla, though he maintains a summer cottage in Umar Hills. --Jan is from Athkatla also. --Isn't Viccy from Menzoberanzan? At any rate, there's a few others. Elfen Lied Wed, 28th Nov '07, 5:30am yes. and Nalia is from the lands of De'Arnise, Haer'Dalis is from Sigil, Edwin is from Thay, Aerie is from Faenya-Dail, Cernd is from the Druid Grove, but also has a house in Athkatla and Imoen was at Candlekeep with you. only ones im not sure about are Yoshimo and Korgan kuemper Wed, 28th Nov '07, 5:35am Yoshimo is from Kara-Tur iirc. Marceror Wed, 28th Nov '07, 5:38am I'm not sure either of those guys ever cared to reveal their origins. Perhaps someone knows better, though. EDIT - The dangers of multi-tasking on 2 computers. Kuemper's post wasn't there when I brought this page up. But by the time I looked back at it and replied.... Kara-Tur sounds right for Yoshimo, I suppose. Now it's down to the Dwarf. Elfen Lied Wed, 28th Nov '07, 7:49am hmm yes the dwarf. I'm not familar with Fae'run enough to think of a place. Korgan is an oddity among dwarves, no moustache and "elf" ears. Beren Sun, 2nd Dec '07, 8:32am Banters that Korgan has with others, Viconia in particular, make it clear that he claims membership in the Bloodaxe Clan. My impression is that this clan doesn't really claim any particular site as a permanent residence, having been both above ground and having competed with Drow for space in the Underdark. Khelgar's Ironfist clan (from NWN2) also gives the impression of often being on the move as opportunity and circumstance presents itself. Elfen Lied Sun, 2nd Dec '07, 7:17pm Had a feeling that might have been the case. Though even if they are nomadic, there would still be a place they are in most often. North American Indian tribes were nomadic, but there was still a general area they lived in. theGodless Mon, 3rd Dec '07, 4:34pm Cernd is from Athkatla not from the druid grove. Elfen Lied Mon, 3rd Dec '07, 7:09pm Yeh forgot about that. Still that doesn't change the fact we still haven't placed Korgan from anywhere yet. Mordokai Tue, 4th Dec '07, 12:07am I seem to remember he mentioned in one banter with Viccy to be somewhere near her home town of Menzzoberanzan(sp?). It's been a long time since that however, so I may be wrong. Elfen Lied Tue, 4th Dec '07, 12:10am hmm, i have both of them in my party for my current play thru, so ill keep an eye out for it. Elfen Lied Thu, 6th Dec '07, 7:51am Found this on wikiquote, while not intentionally looking for it Viconia: Korgan, I'm interested in whether your clan has ever had interaction with House DeVir? It seems to me, if memory serves, that our sphere of influence was quite close to your Bloodaxe clan's stronghold near Talthalra Wern'nt Szithla Har'oloth. Korgan: Nay speak that vile tongue to me, blackskin. If it moves I've killed it, but if it be drow, I've tortured it fer days, first. As fer that house of yers, I burned it and relieved meself on the embers and the dead. And the necklace of darkelf ears fetched me a king's ransom in Waterdeep. So he is from Talthalra Wern'nt Szithla Har'oloth. wherever that is. Maurolava Thu, 6th Dec '07, 7:23pm So he is from Talthalra Wern'nt Szithla Har'oloth. wherever that is. Talthalra - Meeting, Council, Parley Wern'nt - Southeast Szithla - Thirteen (13) Har'oloth - The Underdark Elfen Lied Fri, 7th Dec '07, 12:18am Ok so somewhere in the South East of the Underdark, where 13 whatzits had a meeting. right. |
