I just used the Bg2 Tob pach and I cant install any mods. All mods create a new folder Baldur's Gate 2 Throne of Bhall where keep install themself there. When I give extract here it dosent work.It creates the same folder again(how the hell it creates exact the same named folder? how can that be possible??) The biger problem is that now I have two(in the meantime 3) folders named baldur's gate 2 throne of bhall and the mods keep creating another folder named like that. Of course nothing works except the game that is fine. But I want mods??I am soo pissed off because that pach suppose to help players not to tottaly destroy the oportunity to play any mods.Tha pach i have installed is BGII-ThroneofBhaal_Patch_26498_ENGLISH.exe.Completely ruined my game.

P.S here is the screen

Are there mod's files (folder, exe and tp2) in those new folders? If so, can you move it into the original folder, where the game is installed?

BTW folders don't have exact names, there's small difference between second and third folder.

Yes I have tried this: I let them to extract in the new folders they create. Then moved in the original one.But then the black windou weidu or such cant begin the exctraction because the file dialog.tlk or something isnt there. But it is THERE.I can see it.! And also, after the pach my baldur's gate 2 tob said is 0 byets!!!!!!.And it has 2 giga+.What could be the problem?I will post some pics soon. :(

What mods specifically are you trying to install?

The general installation of Weidu mods involves:
1.extracting the downloaded file if applicable (ie if it's a .rar or .zip or perhaps even file) to whatever location you feel like.

2. Placing all extracted files directly into your BGII directory (usually "C:/Program Files/Baldurs Gate II" or something similar) - this should mean that a folder, an .exe and whatever else came with the mod is in the BGII directory. As an example the Tower of Deception mod would have the following files:
"C:/Program Files/Baldurs Gate II/setup-TOD.exe"
"C:/Program Files/Baldurs Gate II/SETUP-TOD.DEBUG"
and the folder "C:/Program Files/Baldurs Gate II/TOD"

3.You then need to run the .exe file and it should install through a dos-style (ie black background, white text) box and should pretty much guide you through the install.

If you have a weidu.lock delete it and try again

Hey thanks for the reply.Yes I have tried that stu and it gives me a sistem error. The weidu is not suported or something. I dont have weidu lock but I am trying to reinstall it again(Baldur's Gate 2) and this time I will not instal the pach. But that would be bad isnt it?The pach is required for most of mods...

Sounds like your BG2 installation is corrupted. Uninstall the game and then follow these instructions (http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?PHPSESSID=81c44b692119b6eb235156b1754cd9 e3&topic=17555.0) for doing a clean install.

BTW, are you per chance using Windows Vista?
