I DLed this mp3 (to be specific, the mp3 for the Kitanya romance theme, found it at rpgdungeon.net) and I want to use that for Jaheira's theme instead.

What is needed of me? or am I stuck with her theme?

I mostly have a radio or Media player in the background so I dont heard the game music all that well.

Never tried to switch a song or work with anything like that, but without looking into it, I don't think so no. Though hopefully you can.

Gee - never tried this - the in game audio files are stored as *.acm and I think Near Infinity can extract and convert them provided you have the "acm2wav.exe" file (I think it's available on SP somewhere). To convert between .mp3 and .wav you could use audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) (free, open source, ~2mb).

in theory I'm guessing you would just have to convert the file to acm, as Stu said then rename the file to 'MxJahir.acm' placing it in the override, in theory, that should simply work.
